How do I ask for tech help?

If you need tech support, you can email the Academy of Life Planning at info@aolp.co.uk. They will be able to assist you with any technical issues you are experiencing with HapNav.

How do I add assets?

Adding assets in HapNav is easy. You can either drag and drop the asset or simply double-click on it. This will allow you to add the asset to your portfolio in just a few clicks.

How do I cancel my subscription?

If you need to cancel your HapNav subscription, you can do so by cancelling your GoCardless payment. Simply log into your GoCardless account and cancel the payment associated with your HapNav subscription.

How do I add my final salary pension?

To add your final salary pension, you will need to enter the amount of used Lifetime Allowance. To calculate this value, multiply your pension by 20 and add any additional cash lump sum. Enter the resulting capital value as the value of your pension.

Is the income gross or net?

When entering your income in HapNav, you should enter the gross amount. HapNav will calculate the tax to be deducted from your gross income to produce your net income.

Retirement must be ahead of you!

When setting your retirement date in HapNav, you must choose a future date. If you have already retired, you can set your retirement date at 90. Remember, retirement doesn't have to mean the end of meaningful projects and activities. In fact, in Okinawa, Japan, where more people reach 100 than anywhere else, they have a saying: "Retire, and death soon finds you!"
